Bursary Application – Reference Form

Debate Chamber offers a number of  bursaries for each event for those students who would be financially unable to attend without assistance.

If one of your students has applied for a bursary and has asked you to provide a supporting reference please complete the form below. Your supporting statement should outline the contribution you feel that the student would be able to make to the event, and how much they would be likely to get out of it. If you are able to confirm their financial status that would also be helpful.

Bursaries will be allocated two weeks before the event they have applied for is due to begin. In order to for your student to be considered for a bursary you should complete this form before that date.

We will let you your student know whether or not they have been awarded a bursary two weeks before the event is due to begin.
